What Does It Mean to "Love the World?"
We understand “Love the World” to mean that we love the world through the expansion of the Kingdom of God, which pushes back the darkness of our day with the light of Jesus Christ. Therefore, we “Love the World” by being a people sent on a mission. Our mission is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, the divine Son of God. Jesus lived in perfect obedience to the Father, was crucified for our sins, resurrected by the power of the Holy Spirit, ascended to heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father, and will return to make all things new.
How Do We Love the World?
Christ has called us to go and make disciples of all nations (Matt. 28:19). Therefore, we desire to take our mission into the neighborhoods, state, nation, and the world, following the model set for us in Acts 1:8.
We live missionally in our neighborhoods through discipleship groups (D-life), reach out to our community through outreach activities (Upward sports, VBS, and more), and through serving (ramp building, and Day of Blessing).
We take our mission into our state through a partnership with Ten Mile Baptist Church.
On the national level, we partner with Kingshill Church in Boston, Ma.
We are currently in the process of planning our next international missions partnership.
