Love God

(Children Worshiping God)

You are never too young to worship the LORD.  Our worship time includes a time just for kids called Kid’s Connection. Here kids will hear a message created especially for them. We want to see families come together in worship on Sunday morning. However, we know that some kids might not be ready for big church. Therefore, we provide a nursery and children’s church for kids up until kindergarten age.

In addition to our normal worship times, our children’s ministry tries to offer events and activities throughout the year that help kids grow in their relationship with Christ. One way in which we do that is through our participation in summer camp (CentriKid) for grades three through six. CentriKid is a camp where kids get an opportunity to participate in fun activities, meaningful Bible study, and engaging worship.

Love One Another

(Groups & Fellowships for Children)

Coming together to love one another is important and every child can be a part of a group especially designed to help them do this. We offer two opportunities each week for kids to connect with others of similar ages in small groups. The first opportunity is on Sunday mornings at our main campus. This is when we meet for small group Bible study that we call Sunday School. The second opportunity is on Wednesday nights at our Outreach Center. This is when kids can get together to play and learn more about God’s Word.

Love the World

(Missions & Outreach with Children)

It’s important for children and families to share their faith in Christ with others. One way that our church seeks to reach out to our community and give children inside and outside the church a chance to grow in faith and in their understanding of Christ is through our Upwards program (currently Upwards basketball and soccer). Upwards is a Christ-focused program which allows children to not only get involved with a team sport but also be a part of practices where coaches work to teach practical lessons from God’s Word. At every game, there are times of devotion where we point both players and spectators back to Christ.

Our church also has a Vacation Bible School every summer. Vacation Bible School is a week-long themed event where kids will learn about the Bible, have snacks, make crafts, learn about missionaries, and sing songs. It’s another way where we’re trying to reach out to children in our community for Christ.
