About Our Church
Reading this is no coincidence. I believe you’re here because the God of the universe, Jesus Christ, wants a relationship with you. Even though His hand is powerful enough to hold the stars in place, His love compels Him to tenderly reach out to people just like you and me.
That’s why First Baptist Church of Ray City exists. We’re a group of imperfect people who have responded to His touch, and been changed by His love. And we’ve gathered together to worship Him, love each other, and show His love to our community and beyond. We’d love for you to join us.
Because life can be hectic, we try to keep things simple at First Baptist. Our purpose as a church is to love God, love one another, and love the world. Our Pastor: Robbie Peay
Senior Pastor
Robbie has been our Senior Pastor since 2011. A graduate of Southern Seminary, he and his wife, Terri, have 3 grown sons, 3 beautiful daughters-in-law, and 6 grandchildren.
Charles Corn
Associate Pastor
Charles leads our church in our local outreach and global missions efforts. He is a graduate of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Charles and his wife, Summer, have three beautiful children.
Steve Stalvey
Music Director
