Women's Ministry

Love God

(Worship)

Our Women’s Ministry strives to love God through regularly gathering together and encouraging one another in love and good works to the glory of God.

Love One Another

(Groups & Fellowship)

We seek to love one another through fellowship events designed to draw our women together. Through gathering together, we desire to proclaim the gospel to one another and seek to serve him more diligently in all that we do.

Love the World

(Missions & Outreach)

Women’s Ministry loves the world by serving our community through our annual day of blessing ministry. We also love the world by orchestrating our church’s OCC shoebox ministry and the Backpacks for Appalachia ministry.

Springing Into Service

Our Women’s Ministry is all about worshipping God, fellowshipping together, and serving others. Wether it’s a luncheon in the spring, a Day of blessing in the the summer, or preparing to send off shoeboxes or backpacks in the fall, the Women’s Ministry’s heart and soul is honoring God and furthering His kingdom. Whether you are a member of our church or of the community, you are more than welcome to come and see what God is doing in our Women’s Ministry!

A Ministry On A Mission

Like most ministries, the Women’s Ministry is a smaller part of a greater whole: the Body of Christ. Every member working together in unity is what the Body of Christ should look like, which means that our Women’s Ministry actively participates in nearly every area of ministry in our church. Opportunities abound for service and the furtherment of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Will you join us in sharing the good news of salvation with the rest of our community?

Day of Blessing

Every year, our Women’s Ministry puts together an event called the Day of Blessing. Gathering all sorts of stuff from anyone willing to donate it, our women organize and give away for free whatever they receive to anyone in our community who is in need of a blessing. It is written in the book of Acts, “And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.'”
